  • Tour Around The City

During the excursion you will visit historical sights of great importance to the city of Odessa. The tour will take you to see major historic streets such as Pushkinskaya, Rishelievskaya, Lanzhronovskaya, Franzusky and Primorsky Boulevards, Potemkin Stairs and certainly the most famous street of Odessa – Deribasovskaya. You will see the Black sea and the famous Arkadia Beach. Of course, you will also see numerous masterpieces of architecture such as Theatre of an Opera and Ballet, a monument to Duke de Rishelieu, Shakh Palace and many other remarkable places.

If you are a military buff, this tour is definitely for you. This multi acre site / park contains numerous USSR military equipment in its original form. Here you can see submarines, tanks, amphibious vehicles, etc. You are even allowed to climb inside the equipment if you so desire. Not to miss for any military fans. 20 minutes from the center.

  • Temples of Odessa

Odessa is the city of various religions. You will visit the Uspensky monastery, based in 1824. Located here is a theological seminary where it is now training about 700 theologians. You will also visit the church revived in 1998 of Saint Maria Magdaliny, a synagogue, a Muslim mosque, Greek-Catholic church and other religious establishments.

  • Opera and Ballet Theatre: Excursion and performance

Odessa Opera House is world renowned and considered one of the best in Europe, after Vienna Opera House from an architectural standpoint. Exquisite inside decor in the style of Viennese baroque blended with elements of the Italian Renaissance and French rococo, sculptural groups taken from Greek mythology, the stucco moldings and guilt friezes combined with the red velvet of the seats and boxes - all this tends to create a special atmosphere.   • Horse Riding

Enjoy the coastal suburban scenery of Odessa from atop a horse. Riding in Odessa is provided by a professional horse riding club and lasts an hour. If you are an experienced rider, you will be allowed to ride the horse on your own along the water as you desire. If you need help, professional riders will make sure that you learn the basics of horse riding on your first session. Along with great exercise, this is also a great afternoon date activity!

  • Fine Arts Museum

The Museum has an amazing collection of icons from the 14th -15th century and 18th-19th century paintings - Aivazovsky, Repin, Vrubel, Serov, Savrasov and Kramskoy.
Early 20th century paintings are represented as well, including works of Rorich, Benz, Somov, Serebriakova, Kandinski.
The building of the museum used to be the palace of Count Pototsky and was built in 1805. Exquisitely ornamented halls with painted ceilings, beautiful parquet floors, made of rare kinds of wood and fine marble mantelpieces lend an elegant atmosphere to high class painting collections.

  • Archeological museum

Odessa Archeological Museum was the first museum founded in the city and is one of the oldest in CIS.
There are more then 160,000 exhibits providing excellent illustration of North Black Sea coast - from the first appearance of man up to the emergence of the ancient Russian state, Kiev Russ.
Museum displays ancient artifacts - collection of priceless ornaments and jewelry from the 5th to the 1st centuries B.C. and coins dating from the 6th century B.C.
The excavation of Olbia, Khersonesus, Panticapea, Tyras and other ancient Greek colonies on the Black Sea has mainly contributed these outstanding collections. You can read about this museum at the following link:

  • Museum of Literature

This building used to be the residence of Count Gagarin. The building has been completely restored.
The museum collection amounts to 40,000 exhibits. It represents the works of Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Jewish, Bulgarian, etc. writers and illustrates their links to Odessa. The list includes about 300 names.
If you study literature this museum will be of a great interest.

  • Western and Oriental Arts Museum

The museum was founded in 1924 on the basis of private collections in the premises of a wealthy Odessa merchant. The museum has an extensive collection of European masterpieces and antiquities from Italy, Holland, France and Flounders. This collection includes antique sculptures, Ancient Greek ceramics and Roman glassware. The oriental art is represented by the works from China, Japan, India, Mongolia and Tibet.
The interior is richly decorated: molded ceilings and parquet floors made of valuable species of wood.

  • Secrets of Odessa catacombs / Museum of Partisan Glory

Odessa , from the moment of its birth, was under construction with the use of a stone shell rock which was extracted from the underground. Therefore, under city underground labyrinths were formed.
The history of the Odessa catacombs is a terrible monastery of the Odessa criminality and simultaneously they are a representation of Heroism in Odessa. During the Nazi occupation, the catacombs were used with great success by Russian resistance fighters known as Partisans.
Going in suburb of Odessa - village Nerubajskoe, you will visit catacombs where the guerrilla groups were based.

  • Ancient Fortress (XII - XVI centuries) in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky

Belgorod-Dnestrovsky is one of the most ancient cities on the planet. It is 2500 years old. It was founded by people who were from the Middle-East town of Milet. They built it in the mouth of the Tiras River (now the Dniester) and called it Tira. The Fortress belongs to a set of well-known monuments of historical importance. This architectural achievement of Medieval Defense is a sight to see.

  • Sofievka park in Uman

The park has been ranked third in Europe by its beauty and nature. The world knows many masterpieces of landscape gardening, and it takes a lot of courage to pick out one as a unique as this. But speaking about the Sofiyivka we can say with certainty that it undoubtedly ranks high among them. Few works of landscape architecture can rival it in the amount of legends and romantic stories, which are concealed in its shady alleys, mysterious grottos, in formidable heaps of rocks. They unfold to those who know how to look and to listen. Now you understand why we invite you to roam through the Sofiyivka alleys, paths and glades. If you have free time, you can take a ride on a boat along the lake or underground river. A wonderful place to take lots of pictures. Location: 175 miles off Odessa.

  • Vilkovo - The "Ukrainian Venice"

Vilkovo is often referred to as the “ Venice on the Danube” or a “paradise of reeds” and is there is probably no other place like it in Ukraine. The fact is that Vilkovo is a town made of sugar cane and silt built up through the titanic efforts of its residents. People chose a place on the Danube shoals, dug out silt from the water and piled it up to build a house with a garden. Vilkovo is more than 250 years old. It was founded by dissenting old believers, who escaped persecution and the kozaks of Zaporizhzhia and the Don River

It was constructed by bear hands - building from silt the small islands for the house foundation. Instead of streets there were channels, and instead of sidewalks - channels. And houses in Vilkovo are built of a reed.
